Inventory and Storage Policy (3PL)
At Selects Spirits Imports Inc., we recognize the importance of providing secure, transparent, and efficient inventory management services to all partner brands. The following Inventory & Storage Policy has been designed to establish clear procedures, responsibilities, and conditions for the handling of goods under our care. By defining these guidelines, we ensure consistency, compliance with California state regulations, and peace of mind for our clients, knowing.
1. Receiving of Goods.
- All inbound inventory must be scheduled in advance and accompanied by a complete Bill of Lading (BOL) and product manifest.
- Shipments must comply with the labeling and documentation requirements of the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC).
- A receiving fee will be applied per pallet or per case, depending on shipment size. Validate At Select_Spirits_EN 3PL Ver_2025.
2. Storage Conditions
- Products will be stored in a licensed facility located in Our Facilities in CA, under controlled and secure conditions.
- Standard storage rate: per pallet, per month, as defined in the service agreement.
- Partial pallet or case storage will be charged at proportional rates.
- Temperature and handling are maintained according to industry standards for wine and spirits.
3. Inventory Control
- Inventory is tracked using a First-In, First-Out (FIFO) system unless otherwise requested in writing.
- Clients will receive bi-weekly inventory reports aligned with the 15th and 30th of the month.
- Any discrepancies must be reported within 5 business days of receiving the report.
4. Access and Retrieval
- Retrievals of pallets or cases must be requested 48 hours in advance.
- A handling fee will be charged per pallet or per access.
- Urgent requests may be accommodated, subject to additional fees.
- All outbound orders must comply with legal documentation requirements for alcoholic beverages in California.
5. Ownership & Liability
- Inventory remains the property of the brand at all times.
- Selects Spirits Imports Inc. is not liable for loss or damage due to force majeure, natural disasters, or events beyond reasonable control.
- Insurance for goods is the responsibility of the brand, unless additional coverage is arranged in writing.
6. Confidentiality & Data
- All inventory records are treated as confidential and handled under compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
7. Termination of Storage
- Clients must provide 30 days written notice to remove inventory from the facility.
- Outstanding storage or handling fees must be paid in full prior to release of goods.
